This past Saturday, the varsity wrestling team went to Taunton for the D1 South Sectional’s Tournament. All who wrestled showed great determination and clearly have worked incredibly hard this season. There was tremendous support for one another and many alumni and parents were there to show support as well. After a long day of wrestling, Braintree left with 4 wrestlers moving on to the D1 State tournament that will be held this Friday and Saturday at Newton South High School. Those moving on to States are Michael Nigro, Thomas Nguyen, Ryan Spahiu, and Jason Nguyen while the rest of the team will be wrestling in a junior varsity tournament on Monday.
