The class of ‘28 at Braintree High School have been hosting fundraisers to support the class’s future events later in their high school years. Although they’re only in their second year of high school, the class officers have big plans ahead for their class to help participate and are working hard to be able to accomplish their goals.
One of the goals this year in 2026 is a dance that will help bring the class of ‘28 and ‘29 together to help support future events.
STUCO President Sadie Riley has emphasized the importance of participation, “Our future plan would definitely be the freshman sophomore dance which is coming up in April. We have to spread word and we are trying to get more people to come.”
The support and money the class has been receiving goes toward larger events.
“The money going to the class of ‘28 is for junior prom and senior prom and just getting good fundraisers going for raising more money for the future,” Secretary Izabelle Longobardi mentioned.
Treasurer Gabriella Tzeng has also noted, “The participation is really good for our class. There’s a lot of people that participate which is nice. I feel like when we ask something our class always wants to participate.”
Although there are big goals for the class of ‘28, students always try to make the best out of it.
Vice President Irelynn Fennessey shared, “I love being able to participate, help our class, be a part of something, and be like a leader.”
