At Braintree High School, the class of ‘27 STUCO has been busy hosting a variety of fundraisers to gain money for their class. The most common fundraising ideas are restaurant fundraisers.
“We have restaurant fundraisers leading up to [prom]. And for some fundraisers there is definitely a good turnout and for others we are still looking for people to participate, especially for our restaurant fundraiser,” said STUCO President Levinson Yang.
Vice president Caroline Concannon shared, “Our next fundraiser is Qdoba, which is the 22nd of January. We do restaurant fundraisers every month so that’s ours for January.”
“We get good support from companies especially for things like restaurant fundraisers. We can get a bunch of restaurants that we reach out to, and they’re willing to help us,” Secretary Curtis Wu added.
Students that participate in fundraising are a big help to the class of ‘27. There is always room for more students to participate in helping the class with fundraising.
President Levinson Yang stated, “For the dodgeball [tournament], we had historically a good turnout and we are also always looking for more people to participate and that’s something that we are trying to push through Instagram. We’ve been able to partner with companies such as Charleston Wrap fundraiser and our pie fundraisers.”
