BHS students support the class of 2028 by lining up to order food at Dave’s Hot Chicken on November 20th.
The class of 2028’s Student Body had a fundraising event at Dave’s Hot Chicken on Wednesday, November 20th. Money spent on each meal purchased went into the class’s bank.
Mrs. O’Rourke, one of 2028’s class advisors said, “We hoped to raise around $100, the money goes into things like future dances and other class activities.”
The fundraiser had a pretty good outcome. With the half day schedule, many students decided to stop by to grab some lunch.
“I don’t usually go to Dave’s but with the fundraiser and half day, I decided I’d give it a try today,” said Jaxon Pynes, a first year BHS student.
There will likely be many more fundraising events throughout the school year for students to help raise money for their class.
