Due to Snow, Students are Late

Yesterday, on January 7th, we experienced a Nor’easter. 1.8 inches of snow and sleet were dropped on Braintree. And yet, the Snow Day Calculator said that there’s a Limited% chance of schools being closed. This turned out to be true. “When I was walking to the bus stop, the snow was up to my ankles. We should have had a slow day.” posits disgruntled student Sebastian Loi.

However, the snow day calculator did not predict the delays. Today, on January 8th, around 7:37 AM, Mr. Delery announced over the intercom that tardy students would be allowed to enter school late, up to around 7:45, when Mr. Delery announced that tardy students would be marked as tardy. He also reminded students that, during harsh weather, they should prepare to leave for school earlier, to prevent tardiness.
