As spring weather rolls around, the Best Buddies club at Braintree High School kicked off their April Easter themed party on April 2nd, 2025 filled with many games and activities.
The club is one of the many well liked clubs at Braintree High School giving the opportunity for all different students to connect with each other.
“I knew a lot of people before who had done it, and so they had a lot of fun and I just thought it would be fun to help out with the buddies,” comments club member, Joceyln Reen.
“They are making a chick made out of popsicle sticks and they’re making a handprint bunny,” states Co-President of Best Buddies, Jenna Cappadona, as she lists off all the activities the party had to offer for the various students.
The activities and the games are not the only thing that catches the club members’ eyes.
“I do really like the themes, I like how every month we do a theme moving around the holiday and I like how all the crafts kind have to do with each other” reflects Jocelyn Reen.
“I do a lot of stuff outside of best buddies with special needs people ” explained Jenna, “and I have been in the club since a freshman and so just like being in the club all the years , I was like wait I kinda wanna do president so then I just applied” adds Megan Fahy, Co-President of Best Buddies, highlighting the effort and passion they have for the club.
