For most, the holidays are the happiest times of the year giving and receiving gifts. But for many, the holidays are nothing more than a date to them, not being able to do anything special for themselves. But at BHS, SADD club and Interactive club have taken their part in raising the holiday spirit for everyone this year by having a sock drive.
“It makes me feel good knowing that I’m actually making a difference for people less fortunate than me.” Said SADD member Kayla Graziano.
As the weather outside gets colder and colder in Massachusetts, and snow starts falling, a growing concern for homelessness becomes very worrying around the holiday. But with SADD’s and Interactive club’s sock drive there may be a little more local hope this year.
“We’ve had a really great turnout so far, I just hope everything keeps going good so everyone can have a good holiday season this year.” Said SADD member Jackie Gravelle
