Last Monday, Braintree High’s Wrestling team competed in a fierce competition against the Milton Wildcats in their senior night meet. Friends, family, and fans gathered in blue to show their support for the team’s seniors, Drew McGourty, and Rhain Morris, who won his match. The meet started around 7:00 pm and ended around 8:30. Teammates chanted in support of their friends. After a difficult season, the Wamps won with a score of 46-27. This past weekend, the wrestlers attended sectionals, with Captain Thomas Ngyuen placing 2nd, and Michael Nigro placing 1st. The Wamps are hoping to do well at states this Friday, and possibly move on to nationals. Go Wamps!
