Homecoming weekend started off strong with a 44-16 win for the Wamps. Despite the rain during the homecoming game, it seemed to still be successful, as you couldn’t miss the neon-filled crowd. Quarterback Garoid Stones seemed to feel the same as he said, “It was fun and electric; it was packed,” when asked to comment about the game.
The fun didn’t stop there, as when 6 o’clock rang on Saturday night, there was already a line crowding the gymnasium door. The energy lasted through the announcement of homecoming courts. Our Homecoming Court herself, Mona Ammar, said, “I’m happy that I won. I think it is cute that me and Miles won together cause we are president and VP”. Mona and Miles weren’t the only ones that enjoyed the night; everyone seemed pleased with the dance.
