STAND UP week at BHS does more than unite the student body, it promotes diversity and acceptance. The week consists of different themes everyday and ends with the STAND UP rally. This time, however, it was a little different with the of club workshops during the second half of the day. Students were able to explore different clubs and do fun activities with their classmates. STAND UP rally was filled with different cultural dances, a variety of musical genres, and a special guest speaker: Elly Zhurnevich. She spoke of her experience moving to the U.S and working at BHS. This week helps BHS come together as one and get to know all of the school’s various groups of people better.
